All adults (aged over 18) who work with children and vulnerable adults needs to have a DBS check carried out on them.  This check is completed through the Diocese for anyone working as a paid employee or as a volunteer for the Diocese, so all Altar Servers, Eucharistic Minister, Children's Liturgy team members must have a check completed on them every three years.  

If you think you may need to have a DBS check carried out for the work you do for the parish then please speak to our Parish Safeguarding Rep. Shona, who can help you.
